Gyeonggi-do Province in the northwest portion of South Korea. Its territory circles the capital city, Seoul, and the coastal city Incheon to the west. The majority of the cities have easy commuting to and from Seoul. Many people have moved further from the city into these suburban areas and cities.
Gyeonggi-do borders two major cities: Seoul to the center of the province and Incheon to the west. It borders surrounding provinces from east clockwise: Gangwon, North Chungcheong, and South Chungcheong.
Gyeonggi-do is comprised of 28 cities and 3 additional counties. The 28 cities are Ansan, Anseong, Anyang, Bucheon, Dongducheon, Gimpo, Goyang, Gunpo, Guri, Gwacheon, Gwangju, Gwangmyeong, Hanam, Hwaseong, Icheon, Namyangju, Osan, Paju, Pocheon, Pyeongtaek, Seongnam, Siheung, Suwon, Uijeongbu, Uiwang, Yangju, Yeoju, and Yongin. The three counties include Gapyeong, Yangpyeong, and Yeoncheon.
