상가 Collection

A current documentary/street photography project I’ve been doing is photographs of Korean 상가 that I’ve discovered along my travels. 상가, (sang-ga in Korean), or Korean storefronts of various stores and shops lining main streets all over towns and cities throughout the country. With this collection, my aim is to capture not only interesting stores, shops, and restaurants, but also the local passersby. I’m proud to present this collection to you in this gallery. *This collection is primarily black and white. You may also enjoy the 상가 Color Collection and/or my Seoul in Motion Project, which captures in slow-motion the face-pace life of Seoul. Some of the images also include storefronts. (For those who want more, I will share stories of some photographs in articles entitled 상가 collection.)
